The Delray Affair .... It's early this year, so don't miss Palm Beach County's Favorite Arts & Crafts Festival!
The Delray Affair is so much more than an Arts & Crafts Festival, though... it truly is an AFFAIR! 2011 is the 49th anniversary of this larger than life street fair and will be a prelude to next year's 50th celebration. From its beginning as the Delray Beach Gladiola Festival, created to showcase the local varieties of flowers grown in our area, to the 800 +artists from around the country, the Delray Affair converts busy Atlantic Avenue to a walking promenade from Swinton Avenue east to the Intracoastal Waterway and beyond!
To anyone looking for fun in the sun.... a place the whole family can enjoy and a place to take in and by art you won't see at the mall, this is the place to be.... take a look at what it offers:

Oh yes....those gladiolas..... still being sold .... you can see attendees walking around with them as they walk the festival.
Normally held the weekend after Easter (purposely picked to encourage our snowbirds to stay a little longer), this year's Delray Affair is being held the weekend before. So, if you accustomed to marking your calendar for this.... don't forget it's earlier this year!
