Like a Kid in a Candy Store.. I Got to Go on the Field Before the Dolphins Football Game at Sun Life Stadium.
This weekend I had the best treat! If you've read any of my posts, you may know that I love football! Well, this past Sunday I got to go down the the field before the game to see the players working out.
Our very good friend's son works for the Texans and traveled with the team here this weekend. We were so excited to see him since we've known him since the day he was born and only get to see him when we're back in Houston. We had Club tickets for the game AND got Pre Game passes for the Field! YEA!!!
Sun Life Stadium is so easy to get to... it's just off the turnpike. You don't even need to go inside the stadium to have fun. Tailgaters get there early and some set up their own flat screen tv and satellite dish and watch the game from there. Tailgate fare is not just hamburgers and hot dogs.. I know of some who bring Mussels Marinara, lamb chops and other gourmet dishes.
If you are going to the game there's plenty to do inside. There's the AT&T Grand plaza at Gate G which is like one big open air party extravaganza. And there's another similar plaza on the opposite side.
We were escorted to the field by my husband's dream escort (see the video). I have to admit the field really didn't look as big as it does on the tv screen. The football players however were huge!!! I used think I'd want to be reincarnated as a pro football player but I've changed my mind and decided I'd rather come back as an NFL owner.
