I've never really known much about Faith Farm other than where it was and only a vague idea of their purpose. Started in 1951 by Rev. Garland Eastham as a place of refuge and hope for the homeless, Faith Farm Ministries has expanded to a free 9 month residential program for those dealing with drug, alcohol or pharmaceutical addictions.
Residents, who live on campus, are given structure to their lives in a loving environment. While there they work in various jobs that help support Faith Farm, the Thrift Store , for example.
In fact, the Thrift Stores are the major source of income for the Ministries. There are Thrift Stores in Boynton Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Okeechobee, where you can shop for previously owned and new furniture. And this is where anyone wanting to eliminate some of the clutter in their lives can help themselves and help others as well.
