9/11 Memorial Activities will be held in at least 3 separate cities in Palm Beach County, Florida.
We all have ways of remembering the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks but at least 3 communities in Palm Beach County have planned events to pay tribute to those who lost their lives and ensure that we do not forget.

In Jupiter at Roger Dean Stadium there will be a ceremony by the county fire and law enforcement agencies to commemorate the day. The stadium is located at 4751 Main Street in Jupiter and the event will begin at 9 a.m.
Just a few miles north in Tequesta, Florida at the Tequesta Public Safety Building there will be a flyover by the Florida Air National Guard as well as the placement of 2 steel beams from the Twin Towers. Ceremonies begin at 2 P.M. at 357 Tequesta Drive in Tequesta.
And, in Palm Beach Gardens at 11:30 a.m. there will be the formal presentation of a steel beam from the south tower of the World Trade Center that has been erected to remember and honor those who perished. The Memorial Plaza Dedication is located at Fire Station #3 5161 Northlake Blvd. in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Scroll down for a video of the arrival of the beam.
Of interest is the number of artifacts from the Twin Towers that have been granted to cities and countries so that they may be placed in some sort of memorial. The smallest piece is a two by three inch piece of steel granted to a city for its city hall. The steel will be placed in a glass box.
The Port Authority, which owned the buildings, decides which governments or cities will receive artifacts and then a court approval is obtained since the pieces are still crime scene evidence.
Wherever you live, I hope you will take the time to remember.
