Actively Raining Thoughts-Room Service Home Staging

My Thoughts; My Blog!

Will someone "puh-leeze" get me out of the Bathroom? Or, I really need a professional photographer!

When you're Staging a home is it as difficult for you as it is for me to take pictures of bathrooms without seeing your reflection in the mirror?  It's especially hard when the room is small.  I'm so excited to begin my Staging Consultation that I often forget to get rid of "me" in my pictures.

Yep, that's yours truly in the mirror!

I've tried hard to maneuver myself so that I'm off to the side:

I'm the barely-there object in the doorway as reflected in the mirror.

However, it's even better if you're out of it completely.  And, with the right angle you can capture not only what's in front of the lens but also other areas of the room as reflected in the mirror:

Over 80% of Buyers begin their home search on the Internet, giving higher priority to those listings that include several pictures of the property.  As Home Stagers good pictures are important for our websites, blogs, and printed marketing material.

Helpful hints:     *Take several pictures from different angles of a room

*Check to make sure you have sufficient lighting

                       * Absolutely make sure all commode lids are down

                       * When taking your "After" pictures try to show the room from the same angle as the

                          "Before" picture.
