How do you say "Thank you" to a fellow ActiveRainer? Who, BTW, is the embodiment of the spirit of AR.
After losing a blog I was writing due to a computer glitch, I was determined NOT to go through that again. I toyed with the idea of writing my post in Word then copying and pasting it to my AR blog, but was informed that by doing so some of the HTML codes might show up in the body of the post.
After reading Troy Erickson's Post Using KompoZer to enhance your Blog Posts I decided to try the free download. No more writing, editing , inserting and linking only to have it vanish because my connection went south. I was successful, my post was written and now I was ready to somehow get it to my AR blog.
Okay, I have to admit, as much as I love my computer, the Internet, and all gadgets known to man, I couldn't figure out how in the world I was going to get my draft over to my blog. I read something about TABS and HTML and source codes.
In my comment to Troy's post I asked him how to do this and he took the time to outline this for me. BUT, it didn't stop with that. I still didn't get it and after 3 or 4 back and forth direct emails, the light bulb finally went off and I got it!
Troy didn't have to spend so much time with me. He could have just said "Go to this link". Poor man probably wishes he did.
So, I want to say a big Thank you,Troy.
