National S'Mores Day is August 10- Another Day to Eat Chocolate!
I know there are other days that are national days of celebration and remembrance but any day that celebrates chocolate in any form is my kind of day! For those of you who were a Girl Scout ( that would be me), S'mores are a campfire tradition. In fact the first recorded version of the recipe was from a Girl Scout Handbook from 1927!

Cooking S'Mores is more fun when done outdoors over a grill. In fact anytime you have an available grill there's no reason you can't make a S'More. S'Mores done in the traditional manner just taste better. But commercialism has once again reared its ugly teeth and you can actually buy S'More kits.
What? You've never had a S'More??? Think of a wonderful piece of chocolate cozied up to a warm and just squishy on the inside marshmallow... placed between 2 Graham crackers. The marshmallow begins to melt the chocolate and both ooze out all sides of the crackers.
Eat Fast Because You'll Want S'More!
