Thelma and Louise Meet for Lunch but Sadly, Brad Pitt Was a No-Show!
Roger Mucci and I met for lunch today and it was as if we saw each other every week. We can always pick up where we left off.
Roger and I first met in August 2010. Joining us that day was Linda Scofield. I have no idea how Roger and I became friends but I have an idea it was because we both liked the comments we left on each other’s blog.
Roger is exactly who and what he sounds like in his blog. He is very honest about his feelings; he is keenly aware of the feelings of others; and exceptionally thoughtful.
My only complaint was that for the 2nd time in a row, Roger brought with him the rain.....and I don’t mean drizzle or mist either. In fact, we’d been having gorgeous weather right up until the time he landed. Since late Friday it has been raining, and it’s still raining!!
No offense, Roger, but when are you leaving??? My orchids are soggy, I have to carry an umbrella for my morning walks and my feet haven’t been dry in days!

The next time you read a post by a favorite blogger of yours think about picking up the phone and calling just to tell them that.
